The Award Programme

So, you’ve decided to start your Silver Award, the first thing to do is register!

If you have any questions feel free to contact our Award Coordinator.

Once your registration has been approved, you can now register on the ORB.

Participants need to choose activities for the three sections (Service, Physical Recreation, and Skills). This is a good opportunity to start an activity that you always wanted to do or develop your skills further in activities you are already involved in.

If you need advice, you can always as your Award Leader.

Once you have chosen your activities, you need to come up with a S.M.A.R.T. goal as well as an assessor for each activity. The assessor needs to be an expert in the chosen activity who will guide you through the activity and confirm your participation / achievements.

Once your activities have been approved by your Award Leader, do your activities regularly 1 hour per week and log them after each session onto the ORB.

Once you have completed a section of your Award, request an assessor’s report where your Assessor will fill in a small report and sign it to confirm your participation and achieving your goal.

Once all assessor reports are signed and on the ORB, our Award Coordinator will go through everything and send the Award for approval

Award has finally been approved! Now it’s time to sign up for the Gold Award!
